I need to buy a transformer for a DSC PC1555 alarm. I'm not sure where to get one. Please help

You want a 16volt, 40VA wall plug transformer. Plug that search term into your favorite search engine, you will get tons of choices. The transformers aren't propriatory, buy them based on price and whether you like the look fo the vendor.

i need a little more info.. 120 volts to what? i install fire,security hai daily. graingers (if in youer area) will fit you up // just need va load. question is it a dc output then you need a rectifier. check for ac/dc output.. you need a va load (40 va 100 va etc.)

It's a _standard_ wall plug transformer with screw terminals that produces 16.5vac. Any vendor that sells security systems and accessories has about 5-6 models in VA ratings from 10 to 100VA.

40VA fits the average alarm system.
