In my new home a Ademco 4120XM alarmsystem is installed, with 3 Ademco 6128 LCD keypads. Unfortunately, no installer/master code known. Is there a way to reset the system?
Help is needed here.

Try disconnecting the battery and unplug the transformer.
Now plug in the transformer and depress the and [#] keys at the same time within 30 seconds of power up.

Once in program mode: Enter #00; this will make it read back the current installer code, 1 digit at a time.

Enter #01 this will make it read back the current master code

Exit programming with *99

Thank you so much for the help Mr Moderator! I had already the Installer code, default from manufacturer. I got the master code so easily!! YOu saved me time, frustration and a lot of money. ADT, previous monitoring system, wanted to charge a bunch of $ to come out and reprogram the system to a new code (we moved into home and we were not given the codes!). THANK YOU!!!
