I have a Char-Broil Masterflame 7000, Model # 4637826 grill. I have recently rebuilt it and would like to add a side burner. Apparently this needs to be an after market item as this was not standard equipment.
Char-Broil's parts site, www.grilllovers.com only sells the standard regulator w/no side burner for this model.
Can someone point me in the right direction to accomplish this?
Thanks!
Rick

Hello Rick. Welcome to my Gas Appliances topic and the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.
Had a similar situation myself years ago. Found the needed parts at the local RV and camper retail outlets. Likely to have the perfect burner set needed and the right regulator.
If the existing BBQ regulator is attached to the BBQ, you can buy a connection tree that fits on the propane bottle, if propane is used as the fuel. Than attach the BBQ flex hose to the tree connector.
Next attach the side burner to tree connection, if top burner has it's own installed regulator. Or install reg onto top burner inlet manifold per instructions in package.
Or attach reg in line per instructions. All depends upon the existing set up how reg is installed or where it is installed. Be sure the arrow on the reg points toward the burners.
Safety Warning:
Always check for gas leaks whenever moving the appliance and/or a service or repair includes any connection of a gas part.
