I have been re-doing my very small master bath, 4 x 4.5. It didn't seem to matter what color I painted it, it's still just really small, and it has no window. I finially decided to change the color again and this time I choose grey/blue with burgundy accents. And so far I am pleased with the grey color it seem comfortable.

But the problem is now is that I just can't figure out what to do with the burgundy paint. I though about 2 vertical stripes near the corners of all 4 walls. and then one horizontal at both ceiling and floor, but not touching the ceiling or floor. but then changed my mind. I am at a loss with what to do. I need to add something though because the tiles that I had picked match almost to well with the wall color and now i need to break the room up a little. Any suggestion would be great, my master bath redo has turned in to really long project and It just needs to get done

since it's so small, and since bathrooms tend to be very busy anyway, with all the different things crammed into a small space, i'd leave the paint alone. adding more lines like you're suggesting would only make the room seem smaller & very boxy. bring in your burgundy accents with towels or a rug. adding anymore business with stripes, etc will just create visual chaos & ruin your "comfortable" look. think of relaxing spas - they use cool colors & are usually pretty monochromatic with little contrast. instead of using burgundy accents at all, maybe rethink that & go with whites or creams & dark browns/wood tones. that'd be a more contemporary look anyway. gray & burgundy sounds kinda dated.
