I've got several boards on a covered deck that get the brunt of our Oregon weather, and I'd like to clean out the rotted stuff and put some kind of filler in its place.
I've heard that Bondo works well, except that it can separate after a few years. I don't want to have to deal with this again for awhile, so is there a tried-and-true paste or something that's pretty easy to apply to fill my rotted spots?
And, is there anything else I should know about dry rot before I start pulling it out?
