I am looking to replace my thermostat for my heat pump. But I don't know whether I have a single or multi-stage. Everything has worn off, but this is what I know. Installed in 1987. Janitrol, 2.5 ton, 100,000 BTU. It's a split system and it does have auxillary heat.
If anyone could help explain this to me, that would be great.
Thanks,
