Lately I notice that when the compressor cycles off it shuts off with a thumping noise - a very abrupt noise. The other one next to it does not - when it cycles off it just stops - no extra noise. They are both the same Trane XR11 just different sizes.

The air handler linked to the noise making compressor was recently chnaged out so the system was charged recently.
