I have a trailer in the country that needs a few window screens replaced. I pulled them out but noticed the corners had plastic inserts that cracked. The big chain hardware stores had replacements for these in 5/16 and 7/16 but mine are smaller than this. Any suggestions?

If you are having to take the screens apart to replace the corners, you will be better off, either buying fitting screens, or rebuild with all new components, and you can choose the size you need from the get-go.
