I have a double handled shower/tub faucet. For the past six months or so, the cold water pressure has decreased to the point where when it is on full, it just drips. I took the faucet apart and bought a new "cartridge" for it. Even with the new cartridge the cold does not work. If I take the cartridge completely out, I do get a good amount of cold water coming out. Is there anything else that I can do or try before having to tear my wall apart to completely replace the entire faucet? Please help me!!!

Welcome to the forums! If you are getting a good amount of pressure with the cartridge removed, then there is no need to pull out all the gut just yet. I know it sounds elementary, but make sure you got the proper cartridge for the model of control. Not just identical to the one you pulled, 'cause it didn't work either. Pull the hot water side and check it side by side with the cartridge you bought,
Post back and lets see if we can get you cold water. Hey, at least you aren't taking cold showers!
