Toilets, Sinks, Showers, Tubs and Disposals - Pressure loss dilema!

I have recently installed a new kitchen faucet. Single handle moen. There is also a spray attachment. The problem is that since I have done this I have lost quite a bit of pressure from this faucet only. At times I will get a small burst of water or bang in the faucet leading me to believe there is air in the line. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be causing this or better yet how to fix it. If it is relevent I am on a drilled well. Thank you in advance.

Try turning off the supply valves under the sink. Then disconnect the cold water supply line above the valve (top side). Hold a rag over the valve and turn it off and on 3 or 4 times. There may be debris in the lines and this will (should) let any air out also. Then do the hot side. If this makes no difference, then I would say it is the faucet and you will need to take it apart and check the cartridge for bad "O" rings or debris in it. Good luck.

Hi, I have a two handle with a spray and I have the same problem. What I did was remove the spout and check for the size ot the hole where the water enters the spout. I found the size to be 7/64 thats pretty small and it cant be drilled out bigger. Just another thing big brother wants us to live with. You may want to check another brand. I put a cheap wall mounted faucet in the laundry tub it works great.

I had a customer with the same problem, and a Moen faucet as well. I checked everything just like Majakdragon said in his post, but to no avail. I finally talked her into purchasing a Price Pfister, and the problem went away. Not to say the former faucet wasn't good quality, I just have better success with solid brass waterways.

Is your faucet assembly the type with the "plug-in" lines? If so, make sure the lines are routed to the correct nipple.
