I live in a two bedroom condo on the 7th floor and the AC unit runs all day and night. I have it set at 67 and it reads 77, feels like 87! I have changed the filter every month, had the coils cleaned, and the unit checked out by the building. They say everything is fine, but it cant be. It's too hot!! When its 90-100 outside, its 85 inside! HELP!

do you own or rent the condo?

How is it cooled? Chilled water or a split own a/c system?

have you checked the outdoor unit if you are on the split system?

Most likely if you live in a condo, it's a small split system in which the handler is in the house and it is connected to one huge cooling tower on the top.

There are many problems, it could be that the unit is being overwhelmed by so many people using it. That happens often in condos where 100s of rooms use a single cooling tower.
