We are finally building our retirement home and are about to hire the framers. They are going to need to know exact dimensions for our windows, and I have been told that different brands require slighly different wall openings for the same finish size windows. So we need to make a decision on what to buy.
We plan on vinyl, double pane, low E, mostly casement for the main floor, sliders for the few basement windows.
Any brand advice from you guys? Any to avoid? Best value for the price? thanks...
