Any Pros out there who have commercial experience hopefully can help. For insurance purposes I was looking at a "ball park" for pricing equipment. Not installitation, just the pieces. For example. 7.5 ton air handler, 7.5 ton split condensing unit, 12.5 ton roof top, 15 ton package, and one carrier energy recovery unit. I was told for a rough estimate about $1000 per ton. Does this sound right?? Thanks.

Since prices vary so much over the country your best bet would be to get in touch with a few commercial contractors to give you what you need. They will be happy to do it.

Commercial equipment is never sold by itself because you must be certified to install it.
Plus, if for insurance purposes you needed to replace it a dealer would have to install it as well as supply it.
An installed price from a dealer as Mattison suggested would be what you need to know to determine its replacement value.

There are times when "ballpark" estimates are appopriate and useful This is not one of those times. Your description and list of "equipment only" is very broad, and I do not think your $1000/ton figure is useful.

I was curious cause I seen equipment only for sale and it comes to about 1k per ton on package units.
