I would like to know what is an acceptable temperature variance on a TRANE XL16i?

My unit is set at 75 and when it gets warmer in afternoons it goes as high as three to four degrees from what it is set.

Thanks

If the unit is working as it should . Id say its a lot in the tstat . If its ok ,. In the right part of the home. Is the hole behind it where the wires come out sealed up ok. Some you can set for over or under run on the temp. I take it you mean it goes up to 79o before the AC comes back on?????
