HI -We just had new counters installed in our kitchen. I am having the hardest time deciding on the color of paint for the walls. I have brought home all kinds of paint chips and even bought a quart of behrs Swan Sea and painted some on and it looks terrible. Our cabinets are a medium oak, the floor is medium oak and the new counters are grayish (there are speckles of white, brown and black but the underlying color is gray). I think I want a cool color to off set all the warm color in the kitchen but what goes with golden brown and gray??? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi & welcome!

first off.......why'd you pick gray counters?

what color are your appliances?

what colors are used in the adjacent rooms (walls, floors, furniture, drapes, etc)?

all the rooms of the house should flow & coordinate.
