First off, the model is p46924 and the chassis no. is PTK195MA

I garbage picked this Tv about 7-8 months ago hoping to get it repaired. When I plug it in and press the power button, and it makes one initial click, followed by 3 additional clicks. im not sure if click is the right word, it kind of sounds like a pop or thump from the front of the tv. I've opened it up, the fuse on the main board looks fine. I didn't see any loose connections or any broken components.

so if anyone has any clue what is wrong or what could be wrong, and if I can easily replace the components myself or if i need to get a repairman to come to my house and just check out the tv. because like i said, i garbage picked it, so for all i know, it could have a whole bunch of problems besides the not powering up problem.

The TV you have is an RCA model p46924. Some of the RCA models had a problem with the FLYBACK TRANSFORMER.
This part has a higher failure than most.

Comments:Tries to start 3 times (base of output). Unsolder collector, stays on & has sound. Replace flyback
