I have a kenmore washing machine, model number 110.82873120
The unit will fill with water, but will not agtitate or spin. It only
produces a humming noise in either mode. What should I check for?

If the water drains ok its the coupler....

I have sloved my problem. Unit would fill with with water, but would not advance to the wash cycle, problem, bad timer. Opened up unit, motor coupling ok. Changed out timer ,unit now oK.
