The doors I purchased didn't come with doorstop trim on top:wall: . They sent me some doorstop trim, but I am not sure what angle I need to cut it at (bevel cut)? Is it simply 45 degrees?

Thanks in advance,
Pete

Many doors have door stop where the top stop is square on each end and the side stops are also square on the ends- they butt into the top stop from underneath.

But if you wanted to miter the door stop, yes, two 45's would make a 90.

Hi, Just to be sure, door stop is what the door hits when closed and most prehung doors come with it installed the size on an interior door is about 3/8x1 3/8. Door casing is the trim to to trim out the door frame to the wall.
