My wife and i had our new home tented in December 2005 due to descovering termited in the attic and eves. This was recommednded from Terminex.
However, I am stillf inding termites fall out of pieces of the eve. i think they are dead, how can i tell that the termites are not still active. I will be placing a call to Trminex to make sure we are covered if the y did not kill all the termites the first time.
I just hope they don't have to tent all over again because it was such a pain in the butt the first time.
Any help or suggestins would be greatly appreciatted.

If the Termites you have are Dry wood Termites, the treatment would be fumigation, some times the droppings will continue to fall if there is vibration from wind or other things, you can place a piece of masking tape over the exit hole (masking tape being a cellulose product, they may eat through the tape to push out the dropping, If you are finding dead termites then I would say the chance of you still having an infestation is good, Termites swarm every year when the colony get big enough, if the one's you are finding are brownish and have wings or wings are laying beside the dead ones, then call teminex, talk only with the manager and insist they re tent or fumigate the structure, even though it was a pain you will be better off in the long run, spot treatments are seldom successful on drywood termites

Thanks for the reply.
The stuff falling out of the wood looks as if it has been there for a while and is just falling out due to vibrations and gravity. I have palced a call to Terminex and they are sending someone out.
