Hey folks,
Just finishing up installing some nice 8mm laminate in the living room - but I'm stuck on how to finish where the laminate butts up to the carpeted stairs.
Stairs have 2 sides exposed (third is against a divider wall). Carpet down the exposed sides. Running baseboard across the front and side of the stairs, looks - off. I tried some 1/4 round, looks better but still not right.
What is the prefered finishing method in this circumstance?
Thanks in advance,
Andy

If it is thick carpet, it will cover the expansion needed, If it is thin, you may have to undercut the staircase, also.
