I got a pioneer SD-P5053 TV from ebay. When I recieved it I pluged it in and it powered up no problem. The guy told me the color needed to be realigned, but after it is was on for 20min or so, it powered off and I can not get it to turn back on. I unplug it for a few and plug it back in and it turns on for a split second, but then it turns back off. Anyone know what might be causing this? thank you.

Welcome to the DIY forums onetrackbilly :)

Sorry there has been no reply.

I am no pro and my only thought would be to contact the seller and ask for a refund if you haven't done so yet. I'm wondering if you spent a great deal of money...?

Was the item sold AS-IS no refund. If so the seller will not give a refund.I got a VCR from a ebay store was told it worked. Got it from UPS plugged it in nothing would not do anything. I had a mess with a circuit board inside then it worked. This seller is no longer regstered.Ebay must have kicked them out.I got it working so I left +(positive).

All together total plus the freight charge it came out to be a little over 500.00 and now he will not return my emails. He is saying something happened in shipping. I forgot to ask him to put insurance on the shipment so I think I got screwed over. I am gonna call out a repair man in a couple of weeks when I get paid again. Hopefully it doesn't cost too much. I should have just bought the 52" RCA tv from walmart for 878.00 and used my employee discount card. It would have only cost me 800.00 then.
Lesson lived is a lesson learned I guess.

Sorry there's still no answer to your problem but if you paid through paypal with or without insurance you can still attempt to get your money back through paypal.
