I would like to know what are the available options to hooking up the drain hose for my washer.
I saw that it looks like it is standard to put the hose into a 2" x 36" drain pipe that has like a u pipe at the bottom.

I read where someone had it going to their garden. I would like to do that.

Can someone tell me or show me pictures on how to do this.
My washer is in the basement - the ceiling is barely 6 foot - it has a window at the top of the wall that is ground level on the side where the garden is -
Can I send it out that window? and what does the hose configurations look like.

Thanks!

Forcing the washing machine pump to push water that height will take it's toll on the washer. You will also have water draining back into the washer or at least remaining in the hose. It would be best to install a utility sink to drain the washer into and then a small pump to take the water to the garden. Good luck.
