Hi:
My GE referigerator is not cooling enough and Im afraid it shall start spoiling food. Last year it wasn't cooling at all and thanks to this board I resolved the issue by changing the heating element.
This time I opened the back and saw that there no was no excessive frosting at all. Also, the compressor seems to be turning on/off.
What could be wrong now? Cooling is not enough. I have to keep the temperature between 7-9 to get decent cooling. Is there some kind of gas that needs to be filled after some years that keeping cooling OK, just like HVAC? I have no idea where to look now.
Your advice as always shall be greatly appreciated.

Take temp readings for us, please, in both the freezer and fridge sections.
If you can really get it to cool at a higher setting...I find this interesting. That is why I want to see actual numbers. Do you know that meats and ice can freeze solid at say 30 degrees, and you can be fooled by this. But icecream will be soup at that temp.
