Hello,
Is there any advantage to buying a brand new dryer chord for my LG Dryer over using the old chord I was using on my old Maytag dryer?
Thanks

Not unless your cord is going form a 3-prong to a 4-prong recepticle...or vice-versa. No.

I've always used a gas drier so this may sound silly.
You don't get a cord with a new electric drier ? You have to buy it seperate ?
