I have very little experience, just helped on a couple sidewalks, but very confident doing the prep work. My garage needs an apron / side walk, and i need a patio. A ready mix truck would be able to get it anywhere it needs to be placed, no wheel barrows needed, I think. Can you take a wilde stab at it? I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna get this done, work overtime at work, or work my tush off at home.
Much thanks

When you say 'I' does that mean just you or you and some darn good friends?

Ready mix requires an absolute minimum of four strong backs: 1 on the chute, 2 on the screed board, and 1 on the shovel filling in low spots behind the screed board. Additional backs just makes it a lot easier. Hope for a patient, understanding concrete truck driver.
Mixing it yourself is even more work. Calculate the capacity of your mixer and wheelbarrow, and then calculate how much mix you need to do the job. You will be amazed. I would go with ready mix, with enough help, of course. Better yet, hire professionals if the job is large.

i had 2 friends help do a 16x 24 patio in 1 pour along with a 12 x16 dog pen . had the concrete truck driver run the chute. he never complained, after we unloaded the truck we helped him clean up and i slipped him a $20 for his help. that always seem to ease thier mind.

With 4 guys, including myself, I would not pour larger than 400-500 SqFt using a truck. If we were mixing it or wheel-barrowing it, 200 SqFt. Assuming it was personal and not for money, of course.
I and my friends do know how to pour and finish concrete, though.
