I bought a new Kenmore HE2 washer a few months ago. Yesterday, while washing a medium sized load, the washer stopped in the "wash" cycle. I pushed the "stop" button then tried to restart the cycle. After pressing the "power" button, and selecting a cycle (and modifiers and options), then pressing the "start" button, all the cycle lights flash and the unit will not start.
Sears service said it will be 7-days before they can send a serviceman out to look at the washer. Is there any type of "reset" action that can clear the program? I have unplugged the unit (once for 8-hours) and still get the same result after pressing the "start" button. Thanks.
