The plastic turning part of my thermostat control knob of my GE built-in oven has broken off. The oven is circa 1977. I believe that I have found the part online. Can this easily be replaced or do I need to call a repairman? The part itself costs $65 (which seems outrageous) but I hate to pay a service call on top of the part cost.
