A/C outlet (mirror image of NEMA 6-20P plug)
Standard air conditioner NEMA 6-20P outlet should look like:
| --
o
My outlet is the mirror image of NEMA 6-20P – instead of having a vertical prong hole on the left and a horizontal prong hole on the right, I have a horizontal prong hole on the right and a vertical prong hole on the left.
My outlet:
-- |
o
The fuse dedicated to the standalone outlet is 30 amps + (I could install a NEMA 6-30P with no problem), so I’m reasonably certain that wouldn’t be an issue.
However, google searching for plugs doesn’t seem to yield anything that looks like the mirror image of the standard NEMA 6-20P plug outlet, nor does going on wikipedia yield relevant results.

What is the most likely proper name for my current outlet setup?
