Currently building a raised patio using ep henry pavers. Part of the design was building it by a hot tub (one side of wall). Just found out from my hot tub dealer that tub selected is not available anymore. Now I have to consider another one that's of a larger size. Because of the change, I have to re-adjust my wall to fit the new tub. I need to remove part of the wall. Problem is wall has already been glued with masonry adhesive. Any recommendations on how I can strip the adhesive? Can I maybe use a hot wire (similar to what they use for glass cutting) to cut through the adhesive bond? Or is there a better way?

Thanks.

Masonry adhesive forms a permanent bond. You might want to contact the manufacturer for suggestions.

What do you mean by "masonry adhesive"?

What is the wall built out of? Retaining wall block?

Commonly, dabs of silicone adhesive are used to prevent the caps from sliding. If you used gobs of silicon adhesive for the cap units, then you can cut the ahesive with a thin knife blade. After that, you just unstack the retaining wall block.
