Entertainment Center: TVs, Stereos, VCRs and DVDs - Sylvania combo dvd/vcr

Plz Help with this!

I found this tv on the street with remote control and user manual, when got home and turned it on, just a white horizontal line was viseble on the screen. I opened it and moved the horizontal control, I did work fine! now I can use the TV. it is great, can see dvd and vhs on it and TV of course! the only thing is you don't know when the tv will try to go back to the single white line on the middle of the screen again. is not that bad though, BUT with one and soft heat on the tv it will fix it, most of the time the tv is fine and I would love to fix the problem. Could be a bad connection ??? where?? transistor, oscilator???? Can anyboby plz tell me what should I do??

:wall: my Sylvania combo dvd/vcr might have a bad connection.
when move or touch even a littlebit the circuits board the image shrinks from top and buttom to the middle of the screen and sometomes it turns off.

please can anybody help me with this issue???

Try resold the Vertical IC if it has, and around of the vertical circuit. It may be has a cold solder on some component.
