Does anyone know of any websites or resources where I can do some research on programmable thermostats? Any advice/experience also welcome.

Thanks.

There are TONS of t-stat out there on the market.

No real website that I am aware of to help narrow down choices. What are you looking for in a t-stat to do for you?

I personaly have the Honeywell Vision Pro TH8320, and been very happy with it, and how easy it's to program.

Here is a demo of it on line, and I also put in Focus Pro for my aunt and uncle since they don't want programable t-stat.

The demos are really neat.

This gives me something to work with for sure. I don't think you can go wrong with Honeywell. I'm not sure at this point if the current wiring would be enough to take advantage of all the features. I don't to spend money on something only to find out I can't use all of the features. Perhaps I should check to see what kind of wires I've got going into my present unit.

Do you have two stage heating and/or cooling?

If just a standard heating and cooling, you only need 4 or 5 wires.
