Well, I guess intermittent isn't the right word.
Basically what happened is that my heater works great, but my AC never really cooled down the house. It kept it somewhat below hot but not cold. I had a guy come out and look at it and he said it was the control unit so he replaced the control unit.
Then the AC worked great for about a month. Then all of a sudden the AC "died" again. This time I paid attention to the symptoms. Basically the AC still works. If I put my hand up to a vent I can feel freezing cold air coming out but just barely. The intake doesn't sound like it's bringing in enough air though to blow anything through the house. It's exactly how I remember it before the guy replaced the control unit.
Is it possible that I got two faulty units in a row? Oh, and they are different brands of control units too.
What could be going wrong?

From what you say can be the board again. Also did he check the blower motor at that time. I know its hot but its not good to let the outdoor unit run if the inside blower is not working right.
