I have a baseball collection and noticed that some of the balls have develop mold. Is there any way to get rid of it and how do I do so without making the damage worse?

Baseballs are typically constructed of yarn wound round a hard core of material. The exterior is usually a stitched leather cover. While exterior can be cleaned, any mold on the interior can not. Leather goods should be stored in dry, well-ventilated area. If stored in areas that are damp or high in humidity and poorly ventilated, leather tends to be prone to mildew. There are leather cleaning and conditioning products available.
