I'm about to put down laminate on concrete in a bedroom.

l'll install quarterround along the baseboard, but the doorjam is essentially baseboard that runs vertically

I think I've had all questions answered but this one:

What do to at the junction of the laminate and the door jam?

You will need to undercut the doorjamb so the laminate will fit under it. Use your laminate and moisture barrier to measure how much you will need to cut.

You need to undercut all dorjambs before you ever start installing!

You most likely will need to cut the lock off the groove side so you can glue and slide it into place, because there is no way to rotate it in the lock.

Go to HD and buy an Irwin jamb saw for $12.95 and then do what those guys said.
