Firstly a big thanks to everyone posting on this forum. I have learnt a lot about flooring on this forum, and I recommend it to anyone i know interested in flooring. Now to my question.
According to manufacturer instructions for laying glueless laminate flooring, we have to check for defects to the planks. What kind of defects are we to look for in the laminate flooring panels prior to install.
I see that there are sometimes small chips (i-2 mm) to the tounges at the ends of the plank. Is this considered defective, or can we still use the planks.
Thanks!

Chips on the tongue or groove or anywhere really. I would (and have personally) toss them or save them for any ends that you have to cut.
Oh, and make sure it's not warped either.
