Is it better for a slump stone block wall 6' high be anchored to another slump stone block wall that meets it at 90 degrees? The long wall is about 60' and the short wall is about 40' and would meet at 90 degrees about 10' from the end of the long wall. Or would it be better to leave the walls free of each other to allow for expansion? I'm thinking that if the walls were tied together, they would hold up better in an earthquake.
