Good evening. New house buyer. Had the builder install some laminate flooring. How can I check if it has been installed correctly? A couple of things I did notice include some damage on the mouldings where the laminate meets the walls (not sure the correct term); some gaps between the laminate mouldings and the wall and it appears that this moulding was nailed into the wall. I can see where the nails are and it looks unsightly. Any help greatly appreciated

Any places where it is really bouncey? If so that would be substrate tolerance, out of specs.
I'd bring your concerns with the paint finish work, up with your builder. That should have been on the move in walk through and put on the "punch list"
