I have a living room setup where my TV and A/V reciever are not next to each other. One is in the front of the room, and the other is on the front right hand corner.
Unless I stand in the 'magical' stop, I can't control both from the single remote. I use a TIVO remote to turn on the TV, and turn on the A/V unit. The problem is that the A/V unit is not in a line of site of anything, due to its height in the multi media stand. (can't change that).
Is there an inexpensive IR replicator or something I can purchase to extend the range, or replicate the IR signal through out the room?

If you are looking for something relatively cheap, a google search on "remote extender" gives a couple different options for IR to RF converters. A more expensive option would be to use an IR repeater system. A google search for "IR repeater" shows a number of choices.
The IR repeater systems will give a cleaner look but are more difficult to install and more expensize. The RF converters are bulkier but also allow you to use the remote through walls.
