We recently had a new ICF foundation put under our 110+ year old Victorian home. Because our home is on the National Register of Historic Places, we are eligible for a significant state tax credit for much of the work.

However, the state wants the new exposed foundation (on the exterior) to look similar to the original fieldstone foundation.

We got a cost to put on Owens Corning Cultured Stone. 177 sq. feet at $ 24/foot = $ 4248. This is an installed cost (includes durock, mud, labor, etc.)

Just wondering if anyone else out there has any other suggestions as to solutions that might be less $$$. $ 4200 is a bit higher than we were expecting... :(

Thanks in advance!
