ok i bought a tecumseh 6hp 4rm a guy. can anyone tell me if thats a good brand?? my problem is when i turn the choke off my engine just turns off or like chokes out. at times it does run with it off and goess reallly fassst.its also missing the air filter. Wat can i do?? thanks

I would start with the carb. Give it a thorough cleaning (remove it, disassemble, soak and reassemble it properly and adjust).

I kind of have a problem like that, except Mine won't start unless I'm going 5 mph. do you think I should do te same thing?
