I noticed the other day that the grout in my shower was not so white anymore, and so I purchased a bottle of ******** Bathroom Grout Cleaner, but alas, the darn thing turned it brown!
I got no redress from the company's owner, in fact he told me I have to regrout my bathroom :madhell: Has anyone else had a bad experience with this product and will someone help me reverse the damage, please.

I used one and it (so far) did whiten the grout, but left a terrible urine smell. Called the company for help and they were useless. I have tried a variety of things to eliminate this odor, but have not succeeded so far. Definitely would not use again!!

Never used that stuff, but I did use a product called "Tile Guard" which did work. A little time consuming, but easy to use.
My grout was pretty dark and it whitened well, so it would probably work on the brown, too.

Was the grout sealed before cleaning??
if not it is likely the cleaning attempt caused the grout to "suck" up the cleaner or soil. Or maybe the product is just subpar.
They do make color sealers for grout. Were you can actually seal and color older grout to a "new" color.

It is always best to test cleaning methods and products in inconspicuous place for ill effects before proceeding.
