I have a galley style kitchen that I will be installing a laminate floor in. At one end is a door to the mud room which will be tiled. The other endn of the kitchen is open to the Dining area which will also have laminate installed.
Adjacent to the mud room is the refrigerator space on one side and the dishwasher space on the other side.
Should I run the laminate into these spaces or not?

To maintain the same floor height, you'd want to run flooring under the dw and fridge.
In my kitchen, I ran hardwood into the fridge space because it's visible along the sides.
Since my dw is under the cabinets, the sides are not visible. I ran flooring into the first few inches from the front, then installed a piece of same height plywood in the rest of the space.
