A mild mold problem in my bathroom shower stall is now a major mold problem. This is the issue: the builder did not build the shower stall properly (it is tiled) so that the water from the shower and that drips for the glass shower doors sits on the shower ledge. I do the best I can scraping off the water after each shower but the mold remains. I know I have to redo the shower eventually and plan to, but in the meantime are there any products that combat mold successfully? the service is actually limestone.

I have, but in a watered down solution, can I go full strength and not cause any damage?

Probably but I don't know for sure :o Bleach cut 50% with water is the max that is safe for wood so maybe that would be a good starting point.

Natural stone must be kept sealed and cleaned and maintained with products recommended for natural stone. Wiping surfaces after use to keep dry will help minimize mold & mildew problems. Leaving shower door to improve air circulation will also help. Running vent/fan at least 20 minutes after showering or bathing will exhaust excess humidity which can collect on bathroom surfaces and cause mold and mildew problems. Mildew prone areas should be kept clean and dry. These areas can be sprayed with disinfectant spray. There are sprays available that are safe for natural stone. You can Google for stone care products. You can also enter the words stone care in the Search box at the top of the page to find stone care info and products.
