How can I remove a small spot of permanent ink from a pre-finished oak hardwood floor? Someone recommended acetone, but I'm afraid that will remove the finish. Thoughts?

Naptha is the solvent for permanent ink. It can be found in Oops!. This may, however, remove the finish from your floor as well.
