We are doing some drywall work in our finished basement. I am thinking to wire the house for ethernet connections and audio/video in the basement. Is there a website or someone that can show me how to:
1. fish wires between finished floors and walls including tool selections.
2. what type of wire should I use for ethernet (Cat.5E, etc.) for 10/100 and 1G?
3. what type of wire should I use for the audio and video?
4. any recommendations on ethernet control panels and audio/video connection panels?
Thanks.

I think it is going to be very hard for someone to make suggestions with no clue of what your goal is. We need A LOT more information about:
1. number of rooms?
2. number of TVs?
3. number of ethernet connections?
4. satellite or standard cable?
5. are you going to have speakers in every room?
6. what equipment you want to incorporate? (dvr, dvd player, vcr, etc.)
7. budget?
8. cable modem, routers, servers, etc?
8. etc
9. etc
10. etc
There are way too many variables for us to tell you what to use.
