HI, I'm going to be polying my new pine floors this weekend. what's the best way to apply the poly? on my hands and knees with a brush, a board at a time? or is there an easier way. Also, I have a small crack between the boards, will I have any problems with poly pooling in these cracks? Thanks!

Old school was using a wide brush but most use an applicator pad to apply the poly. I have seen a few use rollers but you run the risk of not having as slick a finish.
I wouldn't think there would be any problem with cracks and the poly.

The applicator pad with a long handle allows you to remain standing for the job, so it wins the ergonomics challenge.
