I am installing a wall surround and the end panel is wider than the end wall of my bathroom. The directions do not tell me how to cut the end panel if neccesary if this is possible. The directions indicate that you can cut out for a window, but nothing about sizing the end panels. I can't imagine I have the only bathroom with this type of end wall.
I've done numerous searches and have read numerous threads in the plumbing, wall covering and bathroom remodeling forums and cannot find an answer. Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere or if I'm posting in the wrong forum.

I'm doing the same thing right now. Mine is acrylic and the directions said to just score it with a utility knife and a straight edge and snap it . Works real easy. After you score it, lay it along the edge of a table or board and push down (away from your score).
I would imagine if it is vinyl or plastic it will work the same way. Also, if your tub isn't completely level, you may need to cut or shave a little off parts of the bottom to give you a straight level line on the top. If your surround is 59" high, you need to mark a line 59" from the lowest part of your tub, and with a level, mark that line all the way around. Then measure the distance from that line to various points on your tub. If you don't do this, you will either have a gap at the bottom or the sides won't meet up right on the top.
I used a hole saw made for cutting doorknob holes to cut out for the plumbing--cuts real easy. Just drill a pilot hole in the center first.

Won't it leave a rough edge where I cut it. Can it be sanded down to look like the finished edges that it has now? Or is there a trim piece that I need to buy?

If you score it straight, it cuts pretty straight. You could sand it if necessary. If you have a corner piece that overlaps the end piece, I would cut the side that will be overlapped.
