This may sound like a dumb question but how do you have your cable/satellite connected to your TV? Usually PIP required 2 tuners. In other words, if your cable is connected directly to the back of your TV using the single RF connection and your TVs tuner, PIP probably will not work. If you have a VCR and the cable is connected to the VCR and the VCR is connected to the TV, PIP probably will not work.
However, if you use a splitter to split the cable it could work. From the splitter, send 1 side to your TV directly on the antenna connection (Ch3 or 4) and the other side to your VCR. From your VCR, connect to your TV on another input on the back of your TV (Vid1 or Vid2) using a cable consisting of 3 RCA type connections (Red/White/Yellow).
Then when using your PIP, choose the antenna for your main screen and either Vid1 or Vid2 (depending on where you connected the other input) for your PIP screen. Then you can "toggle" back and forth between both pictures.
Unfortunately, this will not work with satellite. For satellite, replace the VCR with a second satellite tuner.
Hop this helps.
