Hi,
As the title says, the blower and condensor is not working. I've tried the following:
1. Remove t-stat and connect Yellow to RC (and RH). Nothing happens.
2. Open condensor box, manually push in the contactor. Condensor fan working. But blower is not working.
I read the manual on the blower and I don't see any reset info. It's a Lennox. How do I figure out what's wrong? The unit are 2 years old.
Thanks.
Oh yeah, this happened in the past but the blower works, the condensor did not. Turns out the 2 leads from the wall to the condensor was loose (the one connecting to the contactor). Can I interchange this 2 leads from the wall to the contactor? I tried both ways and it didn't make a difference.
EDIT: I did some more reading and I'm suppose to cross G to R, but on my t-stat, it's RC and RH. I tried both and the blower is still not coming on.
UPDATE:
Ok.. after 4 hours of checking and googling (hey, it's an official word today), I finally found the problem. It was a blown 3A fuse on the circuit board. I was checking the capacitor, the relays, all wired connections and the last thing I check was the fuse. I'll check that first next time :P
EDIT: Changed from capacitor to contactor courtesy of Mdtaylor.
