That's what I get for not using masking tape.
I got a few dabs of white latex primer (KILZ 2) and Benjamin Moore Latex Eggshell finish paint on my Hunter ceiling fan with oil-rubbed bronze finish. I thought I could just scratch it off, but it's not budging. How can I get this paint off without damaging the finish?

It is not recommended to use abrasives or solvents on oil-rubbed bronze finish as it may remove the bronze finish and damage any protective coating. Latex paint once dried can be difficult to remove. Clean up for latex paint is soap and water, but once dry it is difficult. Try wetting the affected areas to see if it helps with scaping off with finger nail or plastic spatula or spoon.
